Anastasia Bloomwood
About the Author
I write mystery and psychological novels designed to stir emotions, keep readers guessing, and leave them turning pages long into the night.
After spending more than twenty years helping others through life-changing moments, I found myself on an unexpected path to writing. Unlike many authors, I can’t say I dreamed of becoming a writer my whole life. Instead writing found me—first as a gift, then unexpectedly as a career—and it has completely changed my life in the best possible way.
I live in Virginia with my husband, our two children, two dogs, and what I’m convinced is an immortal goldfish.
When I’m not writing stories, you’ll usually find me caring for my ever-growing collection of plants, reading, or curled up in a blanket on the couch with my family for movie night, a bowl of popcorn in my lap and at least one dog competing for space beside it.
More than anything, I hope my stories pull readers into gripping mysteries while also exploring the beautifully complicated emotions that connect us all. I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to share my books with you.
Works in Progress
Twelve Trinkets
After witnessing a crime, Laurel and Ethan decide to take the next step in their relationship and begin living together. When an irresistible opportunity presents itself, they seize the chance and move into what seems like the perfect home.
With Ethan frequently called away for work, Laurel spends long hours alone in the house, leading to an unexpected discovery, one that may alter the course of her future. As she learns more about the home’s past, her present forces her to confront memories she'd rather leave buried. And as past and present begin to intertwine, Laurel must decide whether facing the truth is the only way forward.
Transcending Wonderland
When her brother dies, Vianne refuses to believe the explanation she is given.
The facts are incomplete, and her mother, Opal, is clearly hiding something. For Vianne, the truth is obvious—someone murdered him. As grief fractures her reality, she leans into her childhood comforts to cope while managing the mounting stress of her everyday life.
But in a mysterious world, with no clear villain, where every mirror reflects a different truth, Vianne must discover the circumstances of his death, and accept that not all truths must be revealed; some have been waiting there all along.
